Encore Experiences offers regularly scheduled activities and special programming to help you tap into your creative side and explore cultural topics of interest. Join us for one of our regularly scheduled classed listed below or check out our monthly specials on our Program Calendar page. Some classes have a fee which can be paid per class or you can purchase at a discount of 10 classes for the price of 9.

Art Class  • Mondays • 1:30 pm • Pat Wilson Schmid • $4

Looking to tap into your artistic side, but need a little guidance? Join this group of experienced and aspiring artists to work on your projects together. Please bring whatever supplies you need for your current project (canvas/paper, watercolors, oils, pastels, charcoals, etc). Pat will be on site to provide guidance and personalized instruction.

Coloring for Calmness • Wednesday • 9:30 am 

There’s something about a freshly sharpened colored pencil and the chance to color in between the lines that just makes the world disappear. Come join us for a relaxing time to socialize and put our minds at ease while we create colorful masterpieces together. All supplies provided. Plenty of options are availble with larger pictures for those with sight issues.

Wood Carving • Thursdays • 9:00 am 

Whether you’re a novice looking to learn a new skill, or an experienced wood worker- this class is for you! Newbies: we’ll show you the ropes, lend you some tools, and help you get started on a project...and before you know it, you’ll be the one sharing your knowledge. Seasoned carvers: come join the fun and share your expertise. As with all of our classes, all levels and genders are welcome!

Stitch and Chat • Thursdays • 9:30 am 

Have a knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, or other crafty project that you’re working on? Join us for this informal gathering where you can bring any project and make some progress in the company of good friends.
